I'm in the home stretch for finishing the Legend of Alm series, after about seven and a half years of concentrated work. It's lagged some months more than others, but that's just my process. I can't force it.
The Final Hour is almost half-finished. It should be a lot of fun.
Remastered covers and definitive texts for the other five books in the series will debut over the coming months, as well. It's hard to let a work go; they say something is never really finished, but I'm really happy with where the books are at now. I'm willing to stand behind these books as well-edited, something I haven't been able to say about some earlier editions.
One of the most important things for this last round of editing has to really set Alm apart from Earth, by having unique names for just about every object. Every tree, every animal. It just increases the immersion in other-wordliness so much. An Encyclopedia of Alm will be available online and for purchase, with pictures and maps. Cross-referencing is fun!
Here comes Spring! Time to go outside!
