The Vanished Colony, which was originally released as part of a planned trilogy called The Undiscovered Lands, has now morphed into one single novel, which I'm calling The Incandescents. Right now, that story is being beta tested by friends and fellow readers, and it should be finished and available for sale sometime in March.
I'm also well into the follow-up to The Incandescents, another science fiction, set 200 years or so after the events of that story. It will be called Naia Solen and the Eternal Cradle. It focuses on a young woman who breaks free of her captivity to discover the real world outside the Great City. While she finds her freedom outside the artificial world, she cannot rest until everyone still trapped in the illusion is set free.
I keep meaning to continue short stories here on the website, but my day job is long and I'm devoting my free time to editing the omnibus edition of Slate Ahn and the Books of Knowledge, finalizing The Incandescents, and writing Naia Solen and the Eternal Cradle. Once I have more free time, I'll finish up the Scattered Serial and probably start on another Tobias Belch tale, just to clear my mind.
I hope you all have something good to read!
