Alo was the God of the Sea from the planet’s earliest remaining mythology, The Legend.
Born from the feet of the Father of Time, Vana, after the early Dischords, Alo was responsible for vanquishing the terrible Dista’s, the first offspring of Vana, who had covered the world in smoke and fire. Originally the most powerful of Vana’s children, it was not until the Fifth Age, when Vana met the Goddess of the Universe, Trin, that Alo’s position was usurped. Alo raged and covered the world in horrible tsunamis and rainstorms as a reaction to his deposition, causing much destruction, but was ultimately appeased when Trin granted him one of her daughters, Baoulemiere, for a wife. The two were married in happy accord for millennia until the First Fall, which saw the moon goddess knocked out of her position in the sky.
Alo is still a popular figure in modern Alm, with sailors and airmen alike keeping images of him onboard for good luck.
